  Sure, there are alcoholics in the past. But sitting with the intention of sounding drunk, interspersing deliberate typos with "pour another drink" and "take a sip" because someone thought that was a cool premise is weird. It's one thing to write drunk, it's another thing to get drunk to write about being drunk

        I don't think the dude drunken rambling on reddit was aspiring to be a role model, just share what he perceived as wisdom he's gained in life.

          He wasn't drunken rambling though, he was getting drunk to do it. I think there's a real difference in message there - as much as it was probably fake.
