ANthropic never wanted my money anyway... they don't allow work + personal accounts to have the same phone number. I had to close my personal account otherwise I could not complete onboarding at work.
So I pay for Codex instead.

- MeetingsBrowser 6mo agoI have a seat in my company's enterprise plan and never gave a phone number.
- mastazi 6mo agoMaybe it depends on the plan. We are on Team not Enterprise.
- muwtyhg 6mo agoYou should be blaming your employer for forcing you to use a personal device to access company resources. You should have been given a company phone or stipend.
- mastazi 6mo agoI did complain about it in our chat and my boss later reached out, offering to set up a number on our company's Twilio account but by that time I had already entered my personal number.
- pixel_popping 6mo agoYou can just get numbers online, no need for SIMs anymore nowadays.
- mastazi 6mo agoUPDATE: it appears this is no longer a problem. Just tried again today, after verifying the number they ask if this is a personal or work account, I selected "Personal" and now I can use Claude both for work and for my own stuff.
