If humans at at all intelligent in any meaningful way, then it is absurdly bizarre that somehow we can't "intelligent" our way to an artificial intelligence. Something is going on in our minds that makes us unable to deduce how intelligence must function in the mechanical sense. What makes us so special is that we can't make AI.
