The truth is --- a lot of management decisions lack insight and are strictly reactionary. This is what got companies heavily into AI and built the current euphoric bubble. It will take a reaction to "AI gone bad" to get them out of it --- or at least adopt a more realistic accessment. But in the overall process, trillions of $ will be needlessly wasted.
