'We, the Economists Without Answers, are sick and tired of being asked about what caused the current global economic crisis and when it might end. The short answer is: we don’t know. We had nothing to do with its onset and we don’t know how to end it, either. If we knew anything, we’d be rich and wouldn’t share the information freely. But we’re not rich. Our asset portfolios have taken the same hit as those of everyone else. One thing we DO know is that the economists who claim to know something about the current economic situation don’t have a clue.
