- kube-system 6mo agoSo, the same as Tesla's L3.
- iknowstuff 6mo agoYou can go to austin and take an unsupervised robotaxi right now
- vel0city 6mo agoLast I heard they still have a car following. Has that actually changed?
- iknowstuff 6mo agoYes
- kube-system 6mo agoRobotaxi is a service, not a product you can buy.
- iknowstuff 6mo agoRuns fsd 14.3
- kube-system 6mo agoFSD has never operated above level 2 in any vehicle Tesla has ever sold, per their own documentation. Robotaxi either has significant differences from the vehicles they sell or they are operating against highway safety standards. (Which could be the case because NHTSA is currently investigating this)
- iknowstuff 6mo agoor its good enough for fenced L4
- kube-system 6mo agoThen why do they tell regulators it’s level 2 when they sell vehicles with that software?
- iknowstuff 6mo agoThey’re telling them exactly the same thing they’re telling customers
