I had a similar run-in with my first attempt at a music player/streamer, originally called 'musicMe'. Apparently there's a French music streaming service with the same name [1] and I promptly received an email with an informal C+D from one of the owners regarding that moniker. I changed it to 'melodyMe', ridiculously similar, but enough to be a separate entity. The point I make, is maybe you can circumvent without majorly changing your name to a related term, if you're linked to the area. Why not "From Venice"?
