- rincebrain 6mo agoTruly incredible. You paid people how much money to pick a name that is going to get thrown out in the next 12 months as everyone keeps thinking you said Thunderbird.
- dlcarrier 6mo agoI thought they said Thunderbird. It wasn't until I saw your comment that I realized they didn't re-use the name of their email client.
- QuercusMax 6mo agoSame. This is epically bad branding.
- throwa356262 6mo agoWhat happened? Did Mozilla hire those geniuses at Sony Mobile to name its products?
- nunobrito 6mo agoOr that they are talking about the thunderbolt cable from Apple: https://apple.fandom.com/wiki/Thunderbolt https://apple.fandom.com/wiki/Thunderbolt A truly poor name choice.
- Kirby64 6mo agoNot just relegated to Apple. That’s just the trade name for the Thunderbolt interface used on any of the “one cable to connect your dock to your laptop” devices. It all uses Thunderbolt 3, 4, or 5 these days and is on USB-C. I’ve got a Dell dock that is specifically a thunderbolt dock.
- sakesun 6mo agoThey should call it Thunderbot.

- a96 6mo agoWTF? Doesn't anyone do a web search before naming a thing? That's the stupidest thing since Phoenix. I mean Firebird.
