- themeritorder 6mo agoI have been closely tracking BESS tenders and installed capacity in India for past 3 years. I agree with the thought experiment here, and ember generally does good analysis. But the biggest pitfall for India lies at the tendered vs installed capacity. India has tendered upwards of 50GWh so far, but installed and GWH as of Apr2026, but only 1.2GWh is operational capacity. That is a concern - for participants and developers.
