- 7e 5mo agoThe guns needed for the U.S. revolution came from the French. Most U.S. farmer guns were shit for actual warfare.
- dabluecaboose 5mo agoThat's true, but the battles of Lexington, Concord, and Menotomy (And by extension, arguably the entire Revolution) were literally started by the Brits trying to confiscate their materiel. This was long before the French became involved.
