Yeah I don’t really know how to solve the first problem programmatically but the second problem is a major issue with our justice system in general.
Fines are only punishments for the lower economic class and do little to correct behavior.
- giantg2 6mo agoI think Sweden issues fines as a percentage of your income. The other part is that punishment is only half the picture. Many of these infractions are likely based on ignorance, which could be addressed with education (the driving test in the US is a joke).
