I was hoping to see his thoughts on the Everglades. His hate is strong.
- jcranmer 6mo agoThe Everglades mostly aren't as mosquito-infested as Congaree. Except for Flamingo, which feels like it's the mosquito capital of the world.
- NoNameHaveI 6mo agoYou CLEARLY have never been to Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula in summer.

- warmedcookie 6mo agoI don't recall Alaska being particularly bad when I went in July. The mosquitoes I did encounter were huge though.
- bombcar 6mo agoApparently Alaska has "mosquito seasons" which are exceptionally bad ("blot out the sun" type) but relatively livable at other times. Places like Wisconsin aren't as bad but it's all season long.
- wmlavender 6mo agoI thought that the joke in Alaska was that mosquitoes are the state bird.
