- digitalsushi 6mo agoii'd suppose there's an equilibrium where people will not or can not any longer tolerate the system and breaking it is superior to enduring it but what if people managing society are using software to pre-empt trends and keep us perfectly balanced and docile then, perhaps yes, PE will eventually own everything and we'll pay per view and rent it all back, as long as it's comfortable enough not to bother changing
