- The_SamminAter 6mo agoThe actual case is that GTA Online sessions are P2P. As such, when connected to a session, your IP is exposed to the other players. This doesn’t really qualify as a ‘doxx,’ as that in and of itself is not particularly PII. Furthermore, playing without a menu is possible and has been for years. It just helps to boot yourself into a new/empty session every once in a while.
- shaewest 6mo agoFrom what I recall, while the sessions are P2P, they've implemented proxies between players to prevent the old problem of IPs being exposed.
