Margin – Open annotation layer for the internet
- cyanydeez 7mo agocool, wrote a whitepaper on this called wikilay a decade ago. Definitely a way to build a better civilizations on the remnants of the slop torrent.
- igor47 7mo agoOh cool I used to use https://web.hypothes.is/ https://web.hypothes.is/ for this but they never had a good Firefox extension so I stopped. How do you annotate with friends using Margin? Does everyone need to be on the same at proto server?
- brennan_maker 7mo agoThe social-proofing aspects of solutions like this tend to interest me more than "building my own library"
- realitylabs 7mo agoThis appears to be very interesting. What happens when the site goes offline or they change the underlying content I highlighted? Is there the ability to see the versions as it was when I annotated?
