I have literally never been to any kind of organized gathering where this wasn't the objective of most of the people there. Family and children's events excluded (sometimes).
- MidnightRider39 7mo agoThat’s crazy, you’ve never been to a party?
- SoftTalker 7mo agoSure. Most people are there with an agenda. ABC.
- MidnightRider39 7mo agoDo you mean most people go to parties to close deals?
- bluGill 7mo agoCommonly - though the deal to close is marriage (or sometimes a one night stand).
- KellyCriterion 7mo agoactually its true, I guess: I have been in partying in my teens and twens, 3 years somehow "heavily". When I turned 40, I found out the only reason I went to parties and clubs for me was to meet girls.
- SoftTalker 7mo agoIn one way or another, yes.
- locknitpicker 7mo ago> Do you mean most people go to parties to close deals? It sounds like the concept of social/civic organizations caught you by surprise.
- MidnightRider39 7mo agoIdk I just don’t see it like that I guess. Never really closed a deal at a party :/ I just get drunk and enjoy the music
