I don’t understand why we don’t have smarter vaccuums yet. Mine just makes a beeline to get stuck under a chair.
It could easily understand so much about the environment with even a small multimodal model.
- hattmall 7mo agoWe do, deebot T20 maps the whole house, knows what type of floors there are, maps furniture etc
- bilsbie 7mo agoMine tries to map but it thinks glass doors are other spaces, and throws away the map if you leave a chair pushed out.
- infecto 7mo agoMy Roborock uses lidar and rarely if ever bumps into things.
- segmondy 7mo agoget the wyze robot vacuum, it's pretty smart.
