Instead of deleting the ballast file you can just truncate it. That works on ZFS when you fill the pool and delete starts failing.

- nagaiaida 6mo agounder what circumstances does deleting files fail on a full pool? i have one that fills up semiregularly and i've never had issues that required me to truncate files
