Be interesting to look at the data from the 2010 Prop 19 'no' vote to see if anything along those lines could be inferred (e.g. strong no vote from areas with high cannabis possession / distribution arrests, suggesting vote buying). I know correlation doesn't mean causation, but that doesn't mean the data point would not be interesting. Is that kind of data publicly available?
