- timeshifter 14y agoNobody is doing "quite well" on consumer desktops right now. The market has shifted away from them towards tablets. The primary consumer for desktops at this point is likely corporations that buy cheap machines in bulk. Most of the rest of the crowd that cares about desktops are enthusiasts like me who aren't buying prebuilt anyway.
