How do you install apps? There’s no App Store. There’s no consensus about how to safely install apps. Install play store? Leaks your login info to Google. Install a clone? Leaks it to China. Install one that doesn’t? Now you lack the security signing of the play store. Install the apps directly? Apps are untrusted.
- alcazar 7mo agoThis is a valid point. I think they are trying to fix this with Accrescent. I've always heard to use Droid-ify for open-source apps, and Aurora for apps that are only in the Play Store (it uses its own Google accounts as a proxy).
