There is an open source app for Razer mice, but it's fairly basic (or was, the last time I used it) and doesn't have support for very many mice. That said, I use a death adder, a mamba, a lachesis, and an Orochi with Linux just fine. Admittedly I don't have the advantages of advanced configurations, but that's what you get without An Internet connection with Synapse 2.0 anyway.
