Ask HN: How do you run discovery with zero network?
- lilwing 6mo agoIm currently figuring this out myself. So far Ive been trying to establish presence on HN and Reddit but it's really tough as a new user. I think that as you begin to gain credibility in these spaces, it gets easier to get exposure because you're actually seen as a real user. Just my two cents.
- _Tarik 6mo agoIt's been brutal honestly. Cold calling ops directors in Canada and getting routed to HR every single time. The credibility chicken and egg is real, no one talks to you without proof you exist, but you can't build proof without talking to people
- lilwing 6mo agoExactly. Wondering if you could share what else you've tried? Ive been seeding on X, here and Reddit but still no real traction. Also how old is your product?
- mmarian 6mo agoYou work on things you know something about, and things that people want to talk about. And you go where people are (meetups etc). Or offer something for free and hope that people reach out to you for conversations.
