- dllthomas 14y agoDid... you stop reading the comment before the joke became apparent, to complain about the kneejerk nature of the comment?
- saraid216 14y agoYou kind of need to know who yummyfajitas is, first. I didn't know who he was until I engaged him in a slapfight a week or so ago.
- dllthomas 14y agoThat adds something, and might clue one in earlier, but "every empirical study ever conducted has shown that males have a statistically significant advantage in slaying Octoroks and Peahats" is unlikely to be anything but a joke.
- viviantan 14y agoI missed the joke entirely at first, but I'm glad I read your comments before posting some obtuse, self-righteous reply like I normally would :) Now I'll have to check out tptacek's "must read" list.
- tptacek 14y agoYou should totally do that. I don't know how anyone reads HN any other way. (Not with my specific list, but with a list of people who will anchor sane conversations).
- viviantan 14y agoAt first I thought you were actually encouraging me to post obtuse, self-righteous replies! Your advice (the correctly interpreted and misinterpreted versions) is taken under submission.
- lotharbot 14y agoShameless plug for one of my favorite HN-related services: http://hackerfollow.com/ http://hackerfollow.com/
- jacalata 14y agoNo you don't, I still don't know who he is and I read it as a joke.
