Windows 8 isn't bad or good. It depends what _you_ use it for. Ads get in the way for me. Some people don't mind ads. I use computers to code, multitask and use open source software. The majority of people don't do these things, so Windows 8 is a perfect piece of software for them. You don't use a hammer when you need a screwdriver, and Windows is just a tool. It depends if you like the software.
