One such post today reported on the USA's apparent use of an aerial land-mine distribution system in Iran. That sounds like tech reporting that fits here — even more than the post a day or two ago about origami patterns for paper models of space vehicles, including the Winnebago from Space Balls, which post was not only flag-free but rather popular.
- xvxvx 7mo agoLiterally the story I was reading when it got flagged and removed, about the US dropping mines on Iran.
- allears 7mo agoHere's a venue that's friendlier to politics: https://www.fark.com/politics/ https://www.fark.com/politics/
- mhb 7mo agoAnd why do you think this is the right venue to receive that news?
- econ 7mo ago[flagged]
- mhb 7mo agoWhich aspect of the technology of mine dropping that you are most curious about do you suppose is covered by the removed article?
- econ 7mo agoThe kind we don't want to see in the world. I won't argue it is close enough to make the cut but it is more technical than some topics that do make the cut. Mines seem more of a long game effort. If we see more of that the war will keep raging and quality of life will decline globally.
