Shhhh! Some of us need to convince our significant others that a 3d printer is actually useful, and not just a toy/waste of space.
- contingencies 7mo agoOn this tangent I can recommend 3D printing jewellery and RC toys as well as repairing broken stuff around the house. Kids like custom fidget spinners.
- 0x696C6961 7mo agoPrinting RC toys gets expensive fast. Before you know it you're buying castle motors and a flysky remote.
- mijoharas 7mo agoOh fidget spinner is a good idea. I bought some good will with an articulated dragon that my daughter likes that is pretty cool. Have you got any links/suggestions for the RC stuff? I've not looked into that yet.
- contingencies 7mo agoBoats and gliders are cool. You can mod non-RC stuff to be RC, that's the fastest/cheapest method.

- atonse 7mo agoHonestly the fact that the kids are so into it after I got it has made my wife come around. Her main argument was, is this just going to sit around gathering dust? and I’m about to go on a gridfinity spree in the next few weeks so she’s going to enjoy the OCD organizing.
