Gen-X has their own version: it used to drive me nuts when I’d say ‘thank you’ to someone and their response was ‘uh-huh’. In what world is that a response? No ‘you’re welcome’?
- rigrassm 7mo agoMillennial checking in: At this point I'd probably fall over in shock if I managed to get an "uh huh" from someone. Was actually talking about this with my kid yesterday and I decided it would be fun to just dig in and return the stare and see how long it takes for them to break (if they even do!)
