I built a photonic AI chip for space with 860x less power, rad-hard to 106 krad

Inference using light instead of electrons. - 860x less power than ARM Cortex-M4F (129.5 pJ vs. 111,370 pJ) - 99.5% fidelity at 106 krad radiation - Athermal: no active heater compensation needed - 220nm SOI, AIM Photonics foundry compatible Radiation model validated against ISS flight data (Science Advances 2024). All simulation done in Meep FDTD, not proxy models.
