Why American cities pay over $3k for one trash can
- JSR_FDED 8mo agoCrazy how there’s this sudden jump in price from $205 for the Generic wire mesh trash can, to $1100 for the Better Bin. These cities seem to be on the track of modifying people’s behavior, instead I think they should accept the behavior for what it is and just place more bins and empty them more frequently.
- jerlam 8mo agoThe idea that removing trash cans would cause a cultural change toward cleanliness is some magical thinking, especially if the trash was illegally dumped and enforcement is impossible.
