That can't be right as Japan's Debt-To-GDP Ratio is almost double the US's.
- myrmidon 7mo agoYou are absolutely right. I did not realize that my dataset was missing most of Asia/Africa. Japan ist at ~230%, but interestingly decreasing pretty quickly (decreased their debth from almost 260% GDP in 2020). I have sadly no idea how much focus this gets in japanese politics, would be very curious if anyone knows.
