That's not true, you can get a cheap new EV, pricing for electric Dacia without subsidy starts from €16k. And used Zoe or i3 are really cheap.

      Not everyone buys German cars, rather something that simplifies their daily lives, with a motor and some amenities. That looks like a bit Apple mentality applied to cars.
