- cylemons 7mo agoI thought loop-blinn expired a while ago, or is the cubic curves separate from quadratic?
- amagitakayosi 7mo agoIIRC their patent is mainly for cubic curve filling. It's still in effect: https://patents.google.com/patent/US7564459B2/en https://patents.google.com/patent/US7564459B2/en
- cylemons 7mo agoAha I saw the paper was published in 2005 and assumed they got the patent at the same time. If they were granted it in 2009 doesn't that means it expires in 2029?
