- bookofjoe 7mo ago>... it will only show that op has enough vitamin D in their blood How can you know the result if you haven't tested?
- slow_typist 7mo agoI can’t obviously. But if they don’t have enough, despite massive overdosing for years, that would be very surprising. (The test only shows one of three possible outcomes. It is not a quantitative procedure.)
- bookofjoe 7mo agoConcur: that would be surprising. I was more focused on the possibility of having a dangerously high blood level which is fraught with negative sequelae. This test — among many others — offer quantitative results at home: https://empowerdxlab.com/products/product/VITD?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=17182725115&gbraid=0AAAAACm7y90rvVfIlgaHs3c3SIPoCD15W&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9-PNBhDfARIsABHN6-0YawOhE2pSCGUVSi91HmgQq6jxiVlNXpXmd81Nypi0wYZ269KIYgUaAuRTEALw_wcB https://empowerdxlab.com/products/product/VITD?gad_source=1&...
- slow_typist 7mo agoPretty expensive though. Lab costs in Germany are <20 € for a quantitative test and the cost of the physician for taking the sample is usually covered by insurance.
