- stockresearcher 8mo agoThe University of Illinois just introduced a new popcorn hybrid that is intended to smell and taste good with no additives at all. No salt, no butter, no cooking oil. Just purely air-popped. They were testing it this year at basketball games. If crowds like it, it could signal a new era of cheaper, simpler, healthier popcorn with maybe multiple sources coming up with their own hybrids with various flavor profiles.
