I'm starting to realise I might have completely misunderstood the whole lmgtfy thing. I thought it was a semi-rude way to call someone out for asking lazy questions instead of trying to find the answer themselves.
- executesorder66 7mo agoNo, you completely had it correct. And sending an AI response to a question is the same semi-rude way to respond. The context here is that the person logging the ticket (or asking the original question by using AI to do it) is the one who is ALSO being a lazy piece of shit, and deserves and equally lazy useless response in the form of a LMGTFY or AI response, because they were too lazy to actually think about their original query and spend time to craft a succinct but useful ticket/query.
