I'm extremely checked out, basically just waiting to be PIPed. KPIs and bonuses are starting to be tied to AI, and every initiative is about AI, despite it making no sense in our product. About half my team is spamming about AI all day, and the other half is trying to use it as little as possible to not be fired. Productivity has hit the floor. I don't care if I lose this job, but I will be really sad if I find that every job has become this.
I am also using it personally for gardening. Plant recommendations, amendments, etc. I always verify everything it says though and it's wrong about 15% of the time, but it helps to get started as a relative noob (something that seems to also come up with programming - noobs love AI, pros not so much).
For example, it recommended I plant deep-rooted daikon as a spring cover crop to help decompact the soil. Seems reasonable; I had heard daikon helps with this; looks like it can grow in my climate in the spring; I almost bought seeds. Then I read that if you plant in spring, it will bolt before it forms taproots. That would be fine if I were growing daikon to eat, but recommending it for a spring cover crop makes no sense.
