Pinta is the closest I've found, though I've gotten pretty familiar with paint.net and there's small differences that make me feel slower using Pinta.
I'm glad to see entrants in this space!
- JCattheATM 7mo agoI liked Krita a little more than Pinta as a replacement, but for the same reasons it feels slow. It's really a shame the Paint.net author is so devoted to being Windows only.
