LOL. The whole system is based on constantly stealing fruits of one's labor by way of inflation and 2 classes of haves and have-nots in regards to real assets. How can regular Joe have faith in it is beyond my comprehension.
- laughing_man 7mo agoThat's not what I mean by "faith". People have to believe, for example, that they'll be able to withdraw funds deposited previously at the bank, that life insurance will actually pay out if they die, and that payments made to settle debts will actually be counted against the debt. By and large, the US system is very good in that respect. If that kind of stuff doesn't happen, people won't use the system and it will collapse.
