The "i" naming always weirded me:
iPhone: Mobile
iPad: Mobile
iMac: Desktop
I always thought the MacBook should have been called the iMac and the iMac should have been called the Mac :) (like how it first was in 1984)
- rkomorn 8mo agoI think the iPhone and iPad names are just "relics" of the iPod name, and the iPod name had probably a lot to do with the iMac's popularity at the time.
