Fair criticism.
I was aiming for “field guide / reference doc” structure rather than a looser essay voice, which is why the piece is so contract-heavy and sectional. But I think you’re right that the repetition probably started doing the opposite of what it was supposed to do and dulled the emphasis.
That’s fixable, and I’ll tighten it.

And to be clear I don't think there's anything wrong with any particular format - a field guide is a welcome thing, but it wasn't labeled as such. Since lately some folks have been passing off this list-y as finished blog product, I wasn't sure if that's what I was seeing here. Cheers -
