I got one the other day. Great for any work I do on the couch (legal research and writing; e-mail; etc.).
I especially like the feel of the keyboard and trackpad, as well as the quality of the screen. The battery life is great: a whole day's use working on the outline of a brief ended up with 80% left.
The only detractors that I've noticed are these:
- no USB power socket on the right side (known in advance, discussed ad nauseam, and not too problematic considering the battery life and ability to use it unplugged all day);
- Tahoe / Liquid Glass (known in advance, discussed ad nauseam); and
- the bottom corners of the screen are properly squared but the top corners are rounded. I had not expected this and I don't like it. My concern is that it will be annoying not having all the pixels once we thankfully get past Tahoe and Liquid Glass.
All told, I'm very happy with it for $600. Reading that the machine is actually repairable is a bit of icing on the cake.

EDIT: Apparently the rounded top screen corners have been a thing on MacBook Pros for several years. I had been rocking a 2017 until I got the Neo.
