Why don't we (Canada, America I guess) do this too?
- philipkglass 7mo agoBoth Canada and the US are net exporters of oil, and have median wages higher than in the countries adopting these measures, so neither physical shortages nor rising fuel prices are issues as urgent as they are in (e.g.) the Philippines.
