Unless it's egregiously inappropriate for HN, you can probably post once or twice and people will be fine with it. You might have slightly better luck if you submit it as a Show HN; someone else has already posted the appropriate guidelines.
Don't be disappointed if it doesn't get much attention; most project launches in /new don't get much attention, much less make it to the front page.
- gus_massa 8mo agoA few more recommendations: For the title use "$Name: $Catchprase", something like "Yellowana: Track how many bananas you eat dayly", hopefully something that makes more sense. Don't hide you are the author/owner. Moreover, a few minutes later post a short comment explaining you are the author and will be available to answer questions. Some short backstory or techs stack description may be welcome. Do you have a blog? If you have some interesting problem you solved with your app or an interesting problem you solved while writing the app, they may be good post. But they must be interesting. Just in case, no AI slope.
