Are AI Tools Ready to Answer Patients' Questions About Their Medical Care?
- JohnFen 8mo ago> “They are not held to the same legal requirements that doctors and health care institutions are,” Bitterman said of the AI companies. This is why I wouldn't touch any health provider that involves genAI with a ten foot pole. The privacy protections involving actual doctors and health care institutions are inadequate already. I can't tolerate anything that has even fewer protections. Particularly if they involve genAI companies, which in my opinion have more than demonstrated that they are not trustworthy to begin with.
