Show HN: I ditched frameworks to build a <512kb personal site
- PaulHoule 7mo agoI built a landing page for my "business cards" that is all about React, Bootstrap and all that, even uses Helmet when I really should have just set the title directly -- and it came out to around a 512k bundle so if you wanna impress me with an unframework page you got to get it down to 200k or less.
- Jotalea 7mo agoi'm sure your react site is fine, but there's a difference between a static site and a site with a blog, music player, custom (lightweight) telemetry. i chose adding as much features as i could fit in that limited space.
