  The problem is, they are becoming normalized very very quickly. Take a walk down whatever area has the best night life near you and you will see tons of people wearing meta glasses. It's so common.

    I have seen zero people wearing them that were not terminal omegadork weirdos. If anything, these people are providing a service of self-identifying.
