In 2026, I would not want to travel to the US with a phone that does not have the level of device security of a Pixel with GrapheneOS or an iPhone.
(I actually do not want to travel to the US, period. But that's a different story.)
- Fnoord 8mo agoIf you travel to communist/fascist or otherwise authoritarian [1] countries, use a burner. And if your boss wants you to go to USA, have the guts to say no. [1] Includes UK, as they have FDE unlock laws. No cooperation = years of prison.
