  How do you know it has crossed slowness threshold to prompt restart ? I check HN couple of times a day and I have not felt any performance difference.

  Out of curiosity, why not have it restart automatically every couple days at like 4am? One less thing to worry about...

    Then you have one more thing to worry about - whether the server/service is going to come back online. :)
