We quite simply don't have the technology or resources for planet-scale climate engineering. Even if we did, it should be abundantly clear by now that those with power will do anything to prevent such planetwide measures.
- blini-kot 8mo agowe absolutely do have a couple of such technologies - cloud forming via sulfur emissions and nuclear winter of course, those are as crude as early surgery, but it is there and oh boy I'm sure no one will refrain from using them once we reach an obviously critical point, as the subtle ones are already way behind
